Built for kids.Made easy for NJ parents.

4th and 5th graders now spend more than five hours a day on screens. Some studies put it past seven. Research is clear that outdoor activity changes that, improving focus, sleep, mental health, and academic performance. The hard part for parents is logistics.

That is what the PA Outdoor Adventure Pass is built to solve. For $69, your 4th or 5th grader gets a full year of curated, family-friendly adventures across Pennsylvania. Many of the participating locations sit one to two hours from NJ, easy weekend or day-trip distance from Bergen, Morris, Hunterdon, Warren, and Sussex counties.

  • Open to all 4th and 5th graders
  • $69 per child for a pass valid through August 2027
  • Curated, family-friendly adventures: just pick and go
  • Activities include skiing, caves, climbing, water sports, farms, nature centers, adventure parks, mini-golf, and more
  • New experiences added all year long

Why NJ families are signing up

1

National data shows kids 8 to 12 average over 5 hours a day on screens. The pass swaps that for memory-making.

2

Drop-in rates at any one of these activities can run $40 to $80 per child. The pass is $69 for 16 months of adventure.

3

Every location is pre-vetted and family-friendly. Just pick something and go.

The PA Outdoor Adventure Pass is the perfect opportunity for children in to spend time outdoors exploring Pennsylvania’s incredible recreation opportunities. This pass helps families replace screen time with real-world experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and connection.
