Each pass provides one amazing experience for your 4th or 5th grader at every participating provider. That means many outdoor adventures across Pennsylvania throughout your pass year (September 1 – August 31).
The PA Outdoor Adventure Pass is an initiative of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Recreation Association. The program’s mission is to provide 4th and 5th-grade students with affordable access to outdoor exploration across all 67 Pennsylvania counties, fostering a lifelong interest in nature, fitness, and adventure.
No, the PA Outdoor Adventure Pass is designed for digital convenience and does not require a physical card or a specific app download. After purchasing the pass online, the student’s information and family photos are stored directly in the participating providers’ systems. Families simply provide their name at the check-in counter to verify and redeem their offers.
For $69, your pass is good through August 2027. That’s 16 months of access (two summers, two falls, and a full ski season) to special offers at outdoor activity locations across Pennsylvania. Ski resorts, caves, water parks, climbing centers, adventure parks, and more. The kinds of experiences most families say they’ll try someday.
