The PA Outdoor Adventure Pass is a $69 annual program designed for 4th and 5th-grade students to explore Pennsylvania’s outdoors. It provides a full year of access (September 1 – August 31) to special offers at providers across Pennsylvania, including ski resorts, caves, water parks, and rock climbing centers, adventure parks, and more (activities you wouldn’t normally try).

To use the pass, families purchase it online for $69 and upload grade verification for their child. Once active, families can browse participating providers on the interactive map. At each location, simply indicate your child has the PA Outdoor Adventure Pass and a staff member will verify by name and the photo you uploaded and photo ID; the child receives a specific adventure or lift ticket, typically with the purchase of an adult admission. Each participating provider offers one unique experience per pass year, covering winter thrills and summer adventures across all 67 Pennsylvania counties.

Grades matter, not age. Your child must be enrolled in 4th or 5th grade. Most are ages 9-12, but grade level determines eligibility. You’ll upload grade verification (report card, class schedule, or school ID with grade indicated) at checkout. A 12-year-old in 6th grade can’t prove 5th grade status = not eligible.
